Life An update on the life of Tiera Bennett.. Well I finished High School and thought of nothing else but getting married to my then boyfriend Scott. That never came to pass (thank goodness), but I did get involved in the full time missionary work for 3 years. I met and married a man with similar interests in 1989. I moved to San Jose, California made lots of new friends and found a really good job. I worked as an administrative assistant for the Victim Witness Assistant Center. We represented victims of violent crimes. This is a State funded program and was a good challenge for me for a while. Until I got a Police report on my desk that told of a rape of someone I actually knew. I realized then that it touched everyone, crime that is. I later found out I was going to have my first son, and 6 months into my pregnancy I got to come home to Oregon. In 1993 my first son was born and in 1996 my second son was born. I then got to be a stay at home mom, it was wonderful, and everything in life I always wanted. Then in 1999 our family moved to Sherwood, and 4 month after our 10 yr. anniversary, my husband left for greener pastures. We divorced in 2001.
