Tiffany Marie's Story
Life
Since high school alot has happened to me. First I started dating a man that I met in kindergarten and went to Grossmont(Patrick Hall) and a month and a week later we were engaged to be married. Very soon later, we moved in together. After we moved in together, he joined the Navy to be a military policeman and firefighter. On November 1st, 2003 I got to marry the man of my dreams in a small but very personal wedding. The next year, he left on his first deployment to Iraq. While he was gone, I finished my degree in Liberal Studies and worked over full time as a pharmacy technician. Then when he got back, we moved into military housing in Ramona, CA. I loved our huge 2 bedroom apartment but it was too far from my husband's work at 32nd street Naval Base. I started looking for a job as a teacher using my newly earned degree and had one lined up to start, when I was in a horrible car accident that broke my neck and caused me to have brain surgery. kin graphs done on my hands that where ripped open. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks and in rehab to relearn how to walk and rebuild my strength for 3 additional weeks. First, my family was told that I would never get out of the coma I was in. Then when I did, I was told that I would never walk again. Then when I did, they told me that I would probably not be able to work again. Against my doctor's orders, I started to work 8 months later. I was not about to let something or someone stop me from doing what I love to do, teaching children. Now I am an assistant director(vice principal) of a private preschool and love my job. My husband who has been there for everything is gone on his third deployment. Things are tough without him but I support and love everything that he is doing for me and our future family. We recently decided to try to have kids of our own and started trying on our wedding anniversery(Nov 1st,2006). As you can see, we are not perfect but pretty damn close! LOL
