Tiffany's Story
Life
After graduating FIU in 1996, I moved San Francisco started working for a financial firm. I transferred to Tampa five years later, and then to NJ. Now I live close to the NJ shore with my 14-year-old daughter, dog, and two cats! I fill my time cooking, writing, hiking, mountain biking, traveling, and reading. My daughter and I are health-conscious and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle. Over the past few years, I've discovered my passion for cooking, and I'd like to eventually leave the financial industry to pursue a career in the culinary arts. I miss the west coast vibe with which I felt most entuned, and I am looking for opportunities to return. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled a bit over the last few years...Expand for more
enjoying the romance of Paris, freedom of New Orleans, excitement of Vegas, relaxation of the Caribbean, and culture of Mexico. I plan to return to Paris this year as well as fit in trips to Amsterdam, Montreal, and Key West (Fantasy Fest!). I try to live life to the fullest and take each day as it comes. Life seems too short to fall asleep in the doldrums of routine, petty obligations, and herd dynamics.
School
Oh my, I hated every minute of school although Mrs. Hoffman at Redland made it much more bearable. The best thing I did was go to private school where I could work at my own pace. I was able to graduate a year early (so I never really graduated South Dade in 1991 like I was supposed to) and began classes at UCF.
