Tim's Story
An associate engineering degree and brief stint out of state constructing power plants ended when I returned to Columbia in December 1977 to attend USC. While at USC, started working at the newspaper... Graduated USC in December 1979, stayed at the newspaper and ran into Gale (Blackburn) also from SVHS and we married in 1982 and just celebrated our 28th year together. We have one daughter, Morgan who is a freshman at USC. We are members at SVPC across from the high school, and just can¿t seem to get away from Sparkleberry Rd.

ke in 97, I bought a clunker bike to keep up with her. Well after a couple years she developed a love for music and you can still find me spinning around town on a bike.
Gale has been in the nursing home industry for as long as I have been at the newspaper and has a wonderful gift for helping others, especially me.
Gale an artist, Morgan a musician, and me, an avid cyclist who if not riding would probably be building habitat houses, my second favorite stress relief.
