Tim's Story

Life I live in Rhode Island and have a lovely wife and a beautiful daughter. I have an old dog that I love very much. I work as a senior developer for a large software company. I enjoy xc skiing, running, hiking, fencing, playing Magic the Gathering, Renaissance and Medieval reenactment, and playing the piano and recorder. I really haven't changed much since high school. I am still a hippie and will be one the rest of my life. School The best time I had was aquiring a huge American flag from a prominant Ft. Collins business with my usual cadre of ne'er do wells and an exchange student from Denmark. d not only visit America, he visited the America where John Belushi was held up as a role model and punk was not just music, it was a way of life. College I had fun in college, but quite frankly, the Bob Marley birthday parties at Rocky Mountain were much more fun! Workplace My title is "Geek at Large". Not really. I'm a programmer, not a grunt programmer. I wear whatever I like. I have long hair. I tell suits what to do and I love it. Military I protested MX missile deployments in Wyoming. I trespassed several times onto an old Atlas missile base to take photos of how those ancient underground missile silos have evolved since they were abandoned by the Air Force in the 60s. I right my congressman regularly demanding that the troops be sent home from Iraq. Does that count?
