Tim's Story

Catch em up on what you've done and who you are, huh? Where to begin, where to begin. Alrighty then, lets try this: I moved south to South Carolina in 1987 with the intentions of staying for the summer and only the summer; my father had been living in SC since 1982 and since I was finished with high school and 3 years at Lakeland College (yes its a 2-year institution... I was redshirted my first year of baseball there due to a knee injury which was originally inflicted upon me by the infamous Scott Thompson in the 4th grade) I decided to take advantage of the opportunity to "get away from it all". I packed my bag (for the females reading this, yes, I did not pluralize BAG... we're guys, its how we travel), jumped in my 1974 Mercury Cougar, prayed to all Gods of every religion known to mankind that the car would go the distance, and wallah; its 2008 and I haven't quite made it home yet. To sum it up, I currently sell, distribute, private-label, solicit, and teach about bottled water and have been doing so for more than 10 years. I've had many a job over the course of my 40-something years and feel truly blessed that I legitimately enjoy what I do each day. In 1990 I married, and 7 years later...Expand for more
we gave birth to my one and only child, named Triston. He's a very handsome child (takes after the ole man), is great in sports (takes after the ole man), and makes straight A's in school (takes after the...uh... mom). His mom and I have been divorced since 2001 but we remain incredibly close and I still care about her dearly. As I write this, I'm currently embracing my mid-life crisis by putting aside fears and going forward with something I've wanted to do since I was a child... but I'm not at liberty to discuss it just yet, mainly out of fear (the very fear that I just wrote I am supposed to be "putting aside"). Yes, I'm pathetic... but happily pathetic (insert smiley-face emoticon here). There's obviously much more, but due to time restraints, the fact that I haven't eaten or showered yet, and basic primal boredom, I'll conclude here. But anyone wanting to say Hi or simply catch-up on the preverbial "old times" can email me anytime and I will look forward to hearing from you! P.S.~ Do you have any idea how painfully embarrassing it is to inform someone down here that I was a former Beaver? I then try to correct myself by adding "Fighting" Beaver, yet that only fuels the old fire...
