Tim East:  

Military Senior Master Sergeant Timmy L. East is the First Sergeant of the 38th Aerial Port Squadron, 315th Airlift Wing, Charleston Air Force Base, SC. His duties include establishing an effective channel of communication between the squadron commander and the enlisted personnel, and keep the commander informed on matters affecting the welfare and morale of the enlisted personnel. He joined the Air Force in February 1982 and was assigned to Langley Air Force Base after completion of technical school at Lowery AFB, CO. Sergeant East separated from active duty in March 1992 and joined the Air Force Reserve without a break in service. In his civilian job he was a Trooper with the South Carolina Highway Patrol from 1993 until 2008. He is now working with the Ridgeland Police Department in Ridgeland, SC. He provides equitable service and protection, upholds the laws of the constitutions of the United States and the State of South Carolina in order to promote a safe and secure environment for the public.
