Tim's Story
Life
After Bradshaw I attended UNA for a year. I Was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. After that year I joined the United States Air Force and got married to a woman in the Marine Corp. in 1983. I've been married now for about 23 years to a great woman named Carolyn and have three (3) children. We live in Jennings, Louisiana and had to evacuate recently because of Hurrican Rita. We survived and only had minor damage to our house. My oldest daughter Courtney (21 yoa) is in college to become a teacher. She attended LSU and now LSU-Eunice and will be graduating soon and getting married this Dec. 2006. My next daughter is Danielle. She was a 4yr cheerleader in High School and then went on and became a cheerleader at Nichols State University. She injured her knee and during basketball season and had to come home. She now attends LSU-Eunice. My son, and the youngest, is named Justin (18...Expand for more
) he is a senoir in High School and will be graduating soon. He is planning to attend the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
I now work in the surveillance operations deartment of the L'auberge du Lac Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I'ts been named the most premier Casino Resort in the State of Louisiana. I've been there for about 1 yr. I retired in 2004 after 14 years with a disability retirement from the Louisiana State Police. I was a Sergeant in the Bureau of Investigations in charge of the 6th District Lake Charles, LA. I was injured on duty in an automobile accident. I suffered a spinal cord injury to the neck and back injuries including my pelvis. I'm only 40% disabled but manage life as it is. I'm just glad that I could get back to some job and a normal life. My wife is now A Mary Kay Director after a battle with cancer. He has been cancer free now for 5 years.
