Tim's Story

Life Whew... I can remember wondering, "What will 34 be like?" Wow...What a long, strange, and beautiful trip it has been. After school, I wondered around fairly restlessly. My restlessness finally drove me to San Diego in 1991. Literally packed up and headed out with no job and no real destination. It seems the gods smile benevolently on that kind of behavior occasionally, and I landed fine. I ran a red light through my 20's without a seat belt... I am now living in San Marcos, CA with my wonderful soulmate Simone and our daughter Claire in our new...Expand for more
home on a quiet street. She is a Senior Software Test Engineer, and I am an IT Director in a Sorrento Valley .com startup. We hike and mountain bike as often as we can, and I regularly haul my telescope up to the top of Mt. Palomar for a dose of solitude and a communion with the divine. Guess what? I was talking to the guy who cuts my hair and he starts talking about his new flame, a girl from Michigan...Bay City, in fact. Turns out it's Lisa Snyder! Haven't caught up with her yet, but soon. Hope you are all getting what you need out of your lives.
