I was one of those students that socially fit into all groups...but mostly ran with a close circle of friends - I keep in touch with many of these friends today. For me HS friendships are important. Other than family, I can't think of any group of people in our lives that we will spend so much time together and have so much in common. During my senior year I started dating Shera Fullenwider. Shera was in the class of 73'. We both attended UNC and were married in December 76' - our senior year at UNC. With the exception of a short 1 year stint in Phoenix, we remained in the Denver area and had two wonderful kids together. Our son, Cole is 28 and is a 2003 graduate of AHS. Our daughter, Kirby just turned 22 and is a 2008 graduate of AHS. Kirby will graduate from CU Boulder this December. Unfortunately Shera and I divorced in 2011 after 34 years of marriage. I have had an interesting career path, having spent most of my life in the advertising and marketing areas. From 1998 to 2008 I was Dir. of Marketing and Sports Sponsorships at The Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. So this was a dream job and had the best perks ever.
