Tim's Story

Life Since High School I have settled down quite a bit, I have been married for 23 years, and have 2 daughters. We are expecting our first grand childen in July and October. I do still enjoy alot of the things I did in school such as, four wheeling, riding quads or my Harley Davidson, and going to the beach. Yes, I still have my long hair and I am still Not the first person who is going to strike up a conversation, just like in school. I do like to crack jokes and have fun and just don't take things too seriously, life is too short! School In school my biggest crush, I don't think it was any secret to her but it might be to the rest of you, was Lynette Richardson. We were great friends and had some good times. My craziest school memory was when my sister and I threw a party at my uncle's, that was supposed to be a few friends, that ended up being half of Fresno County! Military Shortly after graduation I left California, hitch hiking, to Arkansas in search of my Dad. I got picked up by 3 female foreign exchange students that were traveling to Texas. They dropped me off at the bus terminal, by the freeway, in El Paso Texas...Expand for more
. I happened to come across a cop that thought I was a vagrant and he took me in. He let me contact my Dad in Arkansas to clear everything up , and my Dad came to get me there, 16 HRS. (drive time) later. We finally made it back to my dad's place where I met my step Mom and 3 step Brothers for the first time. About a year later I joined the Army and enlisted as an M.P. I was set to go to basic in a week and then to Germany. When I arrived at the M.E.P.S. Center in Louisianna, I went through all the phisical and such and was sworn in. Dad left, Just as we were about to load the bus to ship off I get a call to the office where there are 3 officers sitting on one side and they tell me to have a seat. I sit and they proceed to tell me they need to change my M.O.S. to Infantry. I was stunned. To make a long story short I ended up telling them they can discharge me or spend money finding me because I was not going to be an Infantryman. After some debate I did get my discharge and did not have to serve any time in the service. Now all I had to do was wait for my Father to return home so I could call him to tell him to come pick me up.
