Life I went to St. Peter Lutheran School in Schaumburg, IL before High School. Worked at Barnaby’s (Pizza/Sandwich) in Schaumburg also. I was not involved in sports or the "macho" or gang thing; so I was not a "jock" or a "greaser” . . .I was sort of a loner. I had a few close friends & then a serious girlfriend in senior year, who I was with for 3 years. My older brother Daniel graduated Conant in 1970. My Dad, Mom, and two brothers all moved to California in 1972. I stayed in Illinois until October 1975, then moved to CA. I had a real life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ when I was 20. I got involved in a little church called "The Redemption Center" in Mount Prospect, IL where I got a chance to grow in my new-found faith, including trips to O’Hare airport where we would witness to people & pass out gospel tracts.
