Tim's Story

I was pretty much a nerd in high school and have not changed that much over the years. I took lots of math and science classes at Amphi, but was not much of a socializer. After graduating in 1968, I went into the Air Force. I was an Electronic Technician, working on aircraft navigation systems. Went to Vietnam 1971 - 72. While in the Air force, I got married and had a son, Brynt. We got divorced when I returned from Vietnam. I am in contact with my son and his family. married Nancy Abrams (38 years and counting), we went on a six month honeymoon and I went to work for the Forest Service in Flagstaff when we got back. The following thirty years Nancy and I spent mostly in Portland. I worked for the Bonneville Power Administration and she worked on public health issues after graduating from Dental school there. We retired to Central Oregon in 2011, began snowbirding in Tucson and finally made Tucson our full time residence this year. We live near 5th and Wilmot now. Our interests include birding, bicycling, hiking, gardening, dining out and socializing. We are enjoying the warm and dry weather in Tucson and have not shoveled snow since we left Oregon. Hooray!
