A bio. What to put in here...
I stay pretty busy. 10 years at Dell, now running a regulatory compliance program (electromagnetic compatibility/interference audits) and sit on an IT development council there. Serve on steering and planning committees for a local IEEE (engineering association) society. Maintain some web sites. Storm spotter reporting to National Weather Service and stay soggy on a chase team working with local media. Communications coordinator for some emergency and weather related ham radio services. Contributing author for "Weird Texas" and "Weird Hauntings" (Barnes & Noble). (Note- what you write is not necessarily ...Expand for more
what gets published after the editors are finished...but they are fun to work with anyway). Work on related 'weird' projects while taking everything with a large grain of salt.
Son going off to college (summer '07) at The Citadel in hopes of being a Marine officer afterward. Daughter is a middle school renegade (and lots of fun). Wife manages a team for one of the nation's leading commercial insurance agencies.
Still stay in touch with some friends from Jay, and sometimes work on the class of '78 website (seems like there should be a reunion soon, eh?). Hang with one of closest high school buds about every Friday, which is pretty interesting since we are not in SA any more. Funny how lives stay connected...
