Tim's Story
Life
I am living on East Pea Ridge, have a son and a daughter, along with two step-daughters. I have four grandchildren, two girls and 2 boys. I worked for the WVDOH for 26 years as a bridge inspector, yes we are the ones you see hanging off of and climbing up the structures. I have been divorced and now have been happily married for the past 30 years. We have a pontoon boat on the Ohio river and enjoy spending time there during the summer. In 2008 we have put our boat up for sale and plan on traveling more this summer with the money we save by not paying for dock space and buying gas on the river. My wife had some medical problems in 2007-2008 and was in the hospital for 59 days. She has improved back to her old self. I am still there for her. She is the best thing to happen to me in my life.

dn't enjoy the travel and overnight stays.
My oldest friend is Bob McCown. We met in the third or fourth grade and went to one year of junior high before I moved. Bob went to Huntington High and we have pretty much kept in touch over the years. He is head of security at a prison in Ohio and we see each other at least once a year and talk on the phone every other month or so.
I had a small brain tumor removed in February 2010 (yes, I do have one). Doing great since the surgery.
After 26+ years I retired from the DOH on December 31, 2011. Second best decision in my life. First being getting married to my current wife
The 45th class reunion was a great time. Talked with people that I hadn't seen since high school. The reunion comittee did a great job. Thanks to all.
I have learned over the past few years how much your classmates mean to you. We went through high school together and experienced many things. Hang in there and stay close to your friends and loved ones. You never know how long they will be with us.
