Tim's Story
After GHS, I worked for several years at various places. Because I enjoyed working with computers so much, eventually I earned my Bachelor's degree in computer science.
The biggest change in my life, though, was when I became convicted of my need for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. This was in July of 1998. Before that, I had thought I was a Christian but had not really understood the Gospel. I wasn't yet aware that I had lived a life of breaking all t...Expand for more
en of God's commandments and that this made me guilty before a holy God. It wasn't until realizing this that I understood the Gospel, which says we have all broken God's law and deserve judgment. It was then that I turned from my sin and trusted in the death of Christ on my behalf so that I could be rightly related to God through Christ.
Jesus bore the wrath of God for my sin. I trust in what He did for me like a man puts on a parachute.
