I attended K thru 3rd at Tolono Elementary and then on to Pesotum for 4th thru 6th. (Took 4th grade twice) Attended 7th and 8th at Tolono Jr High. It sure has changed from what it used to be. Those schools are gone, but not forgotten. I moved to Oakland in 1970 and graduated from Oakland High School in 1974....Expand for more
The Oakland H.S. was the size of Tolono's Jr. High. So it wasn't much of a change for me as far as size and amount of students. Sure wish I could have had the chance to tour the old schools before they tore them down. Those yesteryears are getting harder to remember. Wish I could meet some of those classmates again.
