Life
Wow, time flies and I'm now retired and living in Miami.
What's been happening since 1974: Started out in banking, no $$ there. Worked for Midlands Tech for 8 years, state employee. Since I already had 8 years of state service I stayed with State Government. I have been working at SCDHEC for the past 13 years and will retired August 2008 with 28 years of service. No it doesn't add up!! I purchased 4 years of state service time to get to 28 years in 2008, I intend to get out of state employme...Expand for more
nt ASAP. Moved to Miami FL and purchased a condo in South Beach back in July 2005, but I also purchased a house in Sept. 2008 since my condo wasn't big enough. I still have it due to the condo crash. I plan to stay in the house for awhile until the market picks up and will sell at the right time, then move back to my condo. I don't know why I brought the house, but it was a great deal and a nice house in a great area, so I should be able to sell it easily when I'm ready to move back to the beach.
