Tim's Story
After leaving high school (moved the day after graduation to Upstate NY) graduated college, spent the last two years at same college as my brother Tom and had a good time, and went to work for Mohawk Carpet. Got married in '81 and moved a month later to Atlanta, GA. We were there for 4 years and took a sales position and moved to Maryland. All three of our girls (original Gilmore Girls) were born there. In '92 took another position back in Marketing with company in SC, so we moved to Greenville, SC and really loved living there. That company was sold 4 years later and we moved back to Atlanta and went back to work for division of Mohaw...Expand for more
k. Have been here since. Oldest (Karla) graduated from UGA this past May and is working (thank God). Rachel is in 2nd year at GA State in downtown ATL and Bridget is a freshman also at State on soccer scholarship (Karla also had soccer scholarship for 2 years until she got hurt and retired). They've kept us busy for the last 20 years or so with sports, travel with sports and coaching them when they were young. Wouldn't have it any other way! Now Mary & I are getting out and doing a few things for ourselves (spent past weekend at Biltmore Estates in Ashville, NC - would recommend to everyone), and enjoying being just "us" sort of, now.
