Tim's Story
Retired after 32 years in the military and loving it. We are living in our beautiful home on a ranch in the Pacific Northwest, enjoying remaining life to its fullest.
My experience at PHS: Grotesque bullying of special needs students, markedly prohibitive cliques, total absence of compassion for others, as well as nasty racial tension and violence instigated by militant black students. To my friends and others who were kind, thank you.
I will always be haunted by the brutally savage treatment of a sweet, kind girl named Cindy Kennington, bullied only because she was special needs and different. My heart will always go out to her. May she dwell forever in the memories of every member of Prattville High School Class of 1980.
Finally, if I offended anyone for any traits or actions during my tenure at PHS, I humbly apologize.
