Tim's Story
Life
I have been married for twelve years to a wonderful women named Laurie and we have three kids, Anna, Aubrey, and Isaac. We currently live in Mears, MI, which is located in the lower peninsula midway down the west coast of the state. I graduated from Taylor University with a BA in Biology. This past year, 2004, I graduated from Cornerstone University with a Masters of Science in Management.
Workplace
After my Bachelor's degree I had a few months of flipping burgers, planting trees, and cleaning buildings before I started working for the Perrigo Company in Michigan. cause we had a plant down there. I also had the opportunity to do some work lobbying the federal government through a trade association. The work was very interesting, but after seven years I was presented with a few divergent choices. A variety of circumstances led me to three job options. I had the choice of continueing my career in pharmaceuticals with a company in New Jersey, becoming a youth pastor at our Church, or working at youth camp like Camp Spofford where we lived during High School. God led my wife and I to chose the youth camp. We are now at a different camp but still very excited about the opportunities. I know work with a variety of different people on leadership development.
