Tim's Story
Life
December of 2020, I was diagnosed with ALS. See..I knew if I placed a pic or a bio, you'd come in and take a peek. As of February, 2000..still living in the suburbs of Boston, MA. OK, first off a big update...as of October 2000, will be leaving the current position with Porter Cable and starting the new career in Medical Sales. Two other positions I've held since graduating from Slippery Rock Univ. in '89, were at the National Headquarters of Kappa Delta Rho National Fraternity and the Sealy Mattress company. Have been traveling quite a bit for business over the past few years. Got a free flight from USAir and 3 free nights at any Holiday Inn due to all this bouncing around and racing through airports. Towns I've lived in since college are Greensburg, PA...Memphis, TN (for a month), Cleveland, OH (for two months) and been here in met...Expand for more
ro Boston since '93. I will forever remain a Steeler fan (am head of the local fan org. here in Boston) and have taken a liking to the Red Sox. Seeing a game here at Fenway is simply awesome. Still expouse conservative political views... Famous people I've met...Norm Abram from the New Yankee Workshop & This Old House TV shows on PBS (they film the show about 15 miles from where I live), one of the very original Mickey Mouse Mouseketeers, Bob Snyder (but he was one of the RADIO Mousketeers, not TV), came within inches of shaking Pat Buchanan's hand in Lexington, MA and last, Dave Parker #39 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was getting his luggage at the same baggage claim area I was, so I walked up to him and thanked him personally for the '79 World Series he helped bring to Pittsburgh....then found out my luggage had been lost in Phoenix, AZ.
