CLASS OF 1976

Tim's Story

I went to College for three years planning on being an Accountant, but found it really BORING! I decided to try law enforcement and joined the CHP in 1981. It turned out to be a good choice. I was an Officer for 17 years, then promoted to Sergeant. I will be retiring at the end of June '09 with a full pension. I'll be still young enough to go out and enjoy life with my wife Gayle (Madison '75). My family has lived in Poway since 1996. I have three children and two grandkids. My daughter Nikki, her husband and two kids live in Fallbrook. My son Dustin is 20 years old and still trying to decide what to do with his life. ...Expand for more
My youngest son Bronson is a senior at Poway High, and is going to be attending the University of Oregon in the fall. My off-work life revolves around sports. I golf a couple of times a week. We go skiing a couple of times a year. We have a second home on the river and are either wake boarding or quad-riding depending on the season. After I retire I plan on spending more time on the links, probably working there part time so I can play for free. I still get together with most of the guys from the CHS football team each year for the Holiday Bowl. I still enjoy keeping in touch with the boys! Take care and stay safe, Tim
