Tim's Story
Hello!
OK, I'll start with my family. Married for almost 20 years (October 2008) to Angela, we met at UPS when we worked there. We have two girls ages 11 and 8. We live in Alvaton and enjoy the lake almost every weekend. My parents have a houseboat on DHL (Dale Hollow Lake) where my girls have learned to ski, scuba, and can navigate the lake day or night! How about that? We do get to go to the beach as well and I am trying to teach the girls to sail. I have a Harley that my wife bought me for BDAY #40. We don't ride much since the girls don't really like to stay home alone.
I work for a metals company in Franklin named Luvata and it used to be Outokumpu... I like Luvata better. So after 14 years, they decided to let me run the place and I now manage the operation. It is a lot of work, but the people are great and the work is rewarding. My work has taken me around the world to Asia (Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore) and Europe (Sweden and UK). We make copper tube for air conditioners. Our annual pro...Expand for more

OK... Family and Work. That almost covers it. Except for the best part... We all love GOD and know it all comes from Him. We pray every night, so if you need somebody to pray for you, we can do it! We attend Hillvue and listen to Steve Ayers tell us EVERY week that Jesus loves us and that we cannot go to heaven without giving our heart to Jesus and turning away from sin. He tells us that being a good person is not enough. I read the Bible just in case and Steve was right. I hope Steve never stops telling that story! Come to Hillvue and we can pray together!
High School seems like a million years ago, but without the BEST teachers like Coach White, Dr. J, and Miss Penny, it would have been tough. These teachers really pushed me and believed in me. Now I have my degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from WKU and my MBA, also from WKU. What a difference education made in my life. If you are thinking about going back to school, stop thinking and GO!
