Tim's Story
I served in the Army a couple of years after high school. After my tour was over I moved to Illinois to go to school. I received my accounting degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (campus is about 20 miles from downtown St Louis). I married a special education teacher and we have two kids (Madison, born in 99, and Mason, born on 01). I worked at a brokerage firm, A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. for ten years as an Internal Auditor for five and a Tax Accountant for five more. Wachovia Bank bought A.G. Edwards in 2007 and I stayed with Wachovia for about a year and a half. PetCare. I was hired in Sept 2008 as a Tax Accountant at the headquarters of Nestle Purina in downtown St Louis and enjoy my work very much. I stay busy by coaching my son's baseball team, 2009 is my third year as head coach of his team. I also assistant coach for my daughter's softball team, 2009 is my thrid year of doing so. I still like playing basketball...or at least shooting baskets. I also still enjoy riding bicycles although I no longer race. I have a Trek crosstrainer, best described as a comfortable bike that you can ride long distances on or go for speed. Other than that I enjoy gardening (man that sounds feminine but its true), reading about business and the economy, and especially the stock market.
