Timothy's Story

Where my journey has taken me. I had signed up to go into the Air force before Graduation to earn the GI bill to attend college later. I was able to travel extensively while in the military. Actually I got sick of it for a long time. However, went to Oahu and Pago pago in American Samoa a couple of times, Brisbane and Ipswich Australia, the middle of Spain and all over the lower 48. Finished my tour with the Air Force and put myself through college. And I mean it was all me, no help other than my GI bill that I earned in the service. I ended up with an AA in Business Administration and an BA in Economics. My self confidence increased greatly during my military tour and while succeeding in college. My dating years was quite active. Anyway, came home for the summer after Graduating with the AA and meet this lovely young women from Maryland. She ended up in Minnesota having married someone who to turned out to be a severe alcoholic.( Beer in the fridge but no food.) She Had 4 children, only two survived. Divorced him, Meet me. We got Married. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary. Time fly's by doesn't it. Once reaching teenage my wife's children decided to live with their Dad . We had 5 children together. Ahhh--- I was good to stay at two or three but she had other Ideas. we settled out west along the Rocky mountains. Some tragedy, some blessings in our life. In '2005' At only 20 y.old, my oldest died.-- --- -- that was the most awful, horrific event that I ever had to face and deal with. From having to pick out a casket to then put him in the ground. He was a real popular, athletic young man. He was relief pitcher with the baseball team that took the State championship, played hockey as well. At his funeral one of his friends spoke and told everyone about being at a concert one night. He was right up front and was being crushed by the crowd pressing forward. He was passing out, couldn't breath and was going down when he felt someone grab his hand and pull him out.--- It was my Nick. ----he didn't even know Nick was at the concert but my son saw he was in trouble and took action. That was the kind of young man he was. We had no idea. Nick never thought much of it enough to say anything to us. His friend is sure he saved his life. Our blessing happened Just before the above incident, We adopted a little girl from China at only 13 mo.s old. Her name Is MYLEIGH ...Expand for more
YI XIN .(yee shin). She is now 6 y. old She is a Hunan Provence chili pepper. People from there are known for their beauty, intelligence and hot tempers. She fits the description. Additionally she is very loving and a lot of fun. My James is now 21 and working full time while attending the local University ¾ time.and pursues old school Samurai training. My Katherine is 19 and attending a different University. And is a ballroom dancer and figure skater. Katie currently is looking for a good partner in order to compete. Minuet (yes the French dance/song) is 17.And is "competing" at Ballroom dance and had figure skated most her life. Mindy just finished a -Music video- for her 'Film & video' class. She put it on 'YOU TUBE'. (type in SRP1941 than scroll down to Skeleton song music video) She is the star figure and choreographed, filmed, edited, special effects is all her doing. She is lip syncing, Some segments aren't staying timed properly when uploaded . She is working to correct it. Matthew is 13 and also ballroom dances as well as involved in Scouting. My wife, TERESA, It's an Italian name. (Her Grandfather came from Sicily.) pronounced 'tay Ray saa' roll the R. She has recently become a 911 Dispatch supervisor at the Sheriff's office where I work, So now she makes just a little more than I do. dang it. It's really OK 'cause she earns it.!! She's been diagnosed with LUPUS. figured out she's had it most of her life. She's able to function pretty much normally unless having a flare up.. Me, well after getting married into two children it didn't make sense to have her work and pay daycare so I continued working and going to school finishing my BA. I was employed by the IRS as an Revenue Officer for a number of years. Then represented people in tax trouble in the private sector for awhile. I worked myself out of the position by resolving the client load too quickly. I knew who to call and how to resolve whatever too efficiently. This brought me to be a Deputy with the county I live in. Almost 12 years now. Funny thing is, it's the best job I've ever had. !!! I get to stay in shape. I'm 6' tall, weigh 210 lbs, I maintain a bench press of 330 lbs and can still run 4 miles without a problem. Not bad for 50 eh? Make's it nice for going to the beach on the Mexican Riviera. !!! My favorite place to vacation so far. OK, I think that's enough Ref. The notes tab for updates.
