After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the USN, Timothy Davis began his Electrical Apprenticeship with Operating Engineers (Utah Local #3 JAC). His training emphasized Industrial and Heavy Commercial installations. Through time worked and extensive testing, he earned a Colorado Master Electrician License (#2170). Due to the construction slump of the mid-70âs, he trained and tested as an (Electronic) Instrumentation Technician for Monsanto/Louisiana Pacific/Fiberboard. Utilizing this training, Mr. Davis then began work for Northwest Pipeline Corporation (formerly El Paso Natural Gas) as a Level 1 Instrumentation Technician. He later received a promotion to Technical Inspector/ Plants & Station - Construction Division. The State of Colorado issued Tim a Colorado Vocational Teachers Certificate. And with a growing family, Timothy supplemented his income by teaching Adult Continuing Ed classes in Instrumentation Technologies (CNWCC) During this period, his training as an Electrician and as an Instrument Tech fused and provided a springboard for subsequent work and an eventual career. He tested and qualified as a Certified Pipeline Inspector under ASTI (the American Society for Testing and Inspection/Tulsa, OK). He later tested for and became a Wyoming Master Electrician (M-990). Timothy spent 1985/86, as Chief Instrumentation Inspector for Exxon Co USA (Midland, TX). Recently, Timothy co-engineered a (PLC) product line, and began the manufacturing of some highly specialized Electronic Circuit Boards. To sell the line, he founded a new company and is marketing the products under the name âTransitions emiiâ¢â.
