Life
It is hard to believe that 40 years has passed since graduating from Buckeye North High School. Many people and things I can remember as if they happened yesterday. It was a special time in my life but life moves on and has actually gotten even better in these 40 years. God blest me with 2 wonderful daughters who I am very proud of and don't really deserve. My wife and I have been married 36 years and counting. Both of our daughters are out of the house so we have the "empty nest" . . . I don't much like it but am looking forward to them being home for Thanksgiving. Our oldest daughter teaches music in Kansas and our youngest is a senior in college in Nebraska. I continue to work in Human Resources and have for over 22 years now. I served as the minister at our church for the past 4 1/2 years but stepped down a year ago because working two jobs was getting the best of me and I not as effective in either as I wanted to be.
My dad passed away on Thanksgiving 2012. My mom and two brothers live in Campbell, Ohio. It has been many years since we last traveled to the Brilliant area but I am planning to attend the reunion/picnic in Brilliant in 2016. I would love to hear from any former classmates/friends especially if you are planning to be at the picnic too. My brother Scott regularly attends it. I looked forward to seeing old friends there.
