Timothy's Story
Life
After Graduation from Reseda High, I went on to get my BA from San Fernando Valley State College and then obtained my MA in Education from Pepperdine University. I then went to work for the Palos Verdes Unified School District where I remained until my retirement in June of 2005. two days after retirement, I began working for MotoArt in Torrance, California. MotoArt is the featured company of the Discovery Channel show "Wing Nuts" where old airplane parts are turned into sculpture and funiture. While at MotoArt, I was in charge of all World War II creations, which include the design and fabrication of executive desks, shelving units and propeller sculptures utilizing the wings and propellers from such planes as the B-25, B-17 and others. October of 2018, I retired from Motoart. I now spend my time restoring classic cars, and renting them to the movie industry.
As for my personal life: I am currently widowed with three grown sons . I was married for 19 years to Linda Keiko Inatomi who passed away from breast cancer in 1999. I met Linda at a Halloween Party in Palos Verdes where she was wearing a Canoga Park High School Cheerleader uniform. Having been a Yell Leader at Reseda, I immediately recognized her uniform which opened the door to our short but wonderful life together. I am currently living in South Torrance, California where I have lived since 1980.
If we were friends at Reseda High or in College, please contact me, as I would love hearing from you.
Sincerely, Tim Howard
