Timothy's Story

Hello everyone! You probably don't remember me, but I began my Lincoln legacy in June of 1979 and was in Mrs. Hodge's class. I was on the Swim Team in 1981. I sang in the Highschool Choir under the tutilage of Dr. "Doc" Feinberg. I was ordered to attend the "MG" (Mentally Gifted) class. I was feeling pretty good realizing "Finally, someone has taken notice of my intellect!" I was walking on clouds all the way there! When I arrived the teacher called out "TARA Kane?" I said "Uh, no... I'm Timothy Kane!" Then the teacher said "No, TARA Kane." I was sent back to my class. Needless to say, I was devastated. Later on after we all graduated, I heard that things didn't go so well for Tara. Does anyone know if she's still around or how she's doing? In any case, I was expelled from Lincoln for illegally expressing my artistic talents on the school walls in early 1982 and was shipped off to Shallcross. OMG! I was first in my class there. I finished out the rest of my 10th grade at Shallcross and then only stayed for the first 2 weeks of my 11th grade there before rushing off to take my GED. I passed it with flying colors and thus began my life as a "productive member of society." I've always had an affinity towards graphics and drawing and in 1998 I attended Computer Learning Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. That was the start of my computer career. Now, I am an expert at computer graphics and a 10 year veteran of PhotoShop. I build my own computers, troubleshoot other peoples computers, I'm a part-time web de...Expand for more
signer, and I am the Editor & Creator of the GWRRA Chapter E Newsletter. GWRRA standing for "Gold Wing Road Riders Association." They are a long-time dedicated motorcycle club who ride Honda Goldwings and Valkeries exclusively. Those are those fancy motorcycles you see with every conceivable gadget you could possibly put on them riding around. I'm currently (and perhaps permanently) employed by Interstate Outdoor Advertising as an Operations Assistant. It pays well and has great benefits! I'm currently putting more time in at the gym, growing my hair back to it's former glory, and have just recently purchased my first 5-string bass guitar. I'm also thinking about continuing my musical career as a bassist and backup singer. I was in about 12 different bands. Most of which were sorry excuses for bands with alot of "less than desirable" calibur musicians. But, I've also been in bands having extremely talented musicians among their ranks. The last band I was in was a local cover band called FUZZ (i didn't name the band). We were together for over 3 years and were doing very well for ourselves. Then, the drummer had a baby, the singer got married and also had a baby. We disbanded in 2004. I've put my musical interests aside so that I can focus on other aspects of life. Now that those needs have been met, I'm looking back to my music. I know I'll never get a Grammy Award, so now music for me has been reduced to sheer pleasure and enjoyment. Something that I love doing! We'll see how things turn out!
