Timothy's Story
after H.S, I didn't know what I was going to do but I knew I wanted to do something. So I decided to join the army, which was ironic because I never did like authority and tended to question their motives. But the army turned out to be the best thing for me. I got to do some cool stuff, repelling out helicopters, firing some pretty cool weapons, they paid for my education, va home loan, and yes a little disicpline, fortunately there were no major conflicts, thank god for that. I was stationed in Heidelberg germany for 2.5 yrs and had a blast. I went to the october fest in munich 3 times, visited paris twice, went skiing in the bavarian alps, partied in amsterdam, went to the 40th anniversary of D-Day, toured a lot of battlefields, went to switzerland for a blues fest, went to the berlin wall and just hung out with the germans drinking quite a few brews. I played on a traveling softball team throughout europe. I was involved in quite a few adventures, but I can't mention those as I don't want to incriminate myself.
After the military I came home which was cool, worked some bogus jobs and decided to leave again. I moved to Denver for a year and that was pretty neat as I always enjoyed the mountain scenery. I came home again picked up a bartending job and preceded to start my college education, 5.5 yrs later I had a B.A in marketing. I worked a couple of jobs, but the pay was low and I decided to go in a new direction. As of now I am a building engineer working in downtown chicago. But I don't believe I...Expand for more
am satisfied with this, so I am working on a business plan which I tried before but something that I want to finish. With hard work and a little luck I hope to reach my true goal and that would be PIZZA-LIA. catchy name don't u think.
I also did some some stand up comedy, which was pretty cool, they gave me a microphone and a listening audience in which I could say anything that I wanted. sometimes I was pretty decent and sometimes I just plain bombed. I got to perform on the main stage at SCTV. That was the highlight of my performing days.
I got married in july of 95 at squaw valley california, which is about 5 miles from Lake Tahoe. I married sharron Martin who is 4 yrs younger than me. well u know how us Italians are. In 2001, Life threw a curveball as my wife was diagnosed with M.S. I knew that I had to step up and reach deep inside to provide her with the proper care and whatever necesseties that are required to make her life as comfortable as possible. You learn a lot about life and yourself when something like that hits close to home. People who I thought would be there weren't and other People who I thought would never do anything stepped up and have helped Sharron and I(or is that me). I tend not to let the little things and trivial matters bother me. Enjoy the moment.
well, thats about it, there are some pretty funny stories involving some of my past experiences, so if any one wants to shoot the breeze, drop me a line.
