Timothy Sutliff:

CLASS OF 1986

Timothy's Story

Hello whoeverbody, If you remember me or have read my profile, I've led a pretty weird life. It's been a pretty cool ride. I joined the military right out of school (So I could escape authority). Joke was on me. My military career was short and somewhat checkered as I developed an intense love for all things that produced some kind of a buzz. I then proceeded as far in that direction as the Good Lord would allow. Several years and a lot of heartaches later, after learning almost everything in life the hard way,(oh yeah, it left a mark alright) I surrendered my shipwrecked life to His will. I was always afraid if I did this completely I would end up with a really BORING life. Not so. I've been blessed with a family that makes me still pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. I'm that guy that people say "How did HE end up with a beautiful wife and kids like that? All I can say to that is that I'm living proof that God is extremely gracious and He's got a sense of humor that's out of this world. I've been in Christian outreach ministry for several yrs. A lot of that focus has been on music (oh yeah, I play a pretty mean guitar, write and sing also) and ministry in the jails and prison. Let's face it, anyone who knows me would agree, that's where I belong. I've been blessed to work with my father, and my brother Rich (remember "Rowdy") in a family owned construction business for several years. It's been good to us for a long time but it's ceased to be the most lucrativ...Expand for more
e line of work the last couple of years, so, Ha, I'm going to college! At the age of 41 I'm finishing my freshman year in pre-law/political science. Currently a 4.0 student. Things are going well in that respect but there's one thing that might change all that. There's the possibility of a full-time ministry position as a Worship Pastor. So for any of you praying types, keep that one in your prayers for me. I'm happy with whatever God wants. My FAMILY!!! Like I said, I'm blessed. My wife Sharon is a knockout, and incredibly talented. She's got the toughest job in our family as a full-time homemaker. She has her hands full with Zachary, our 14yr old, Titus, our 14mo. old, and me. Oh yeah, we're expecting again in June. She needs your prayers. She plays guitar, keys, violin, flute etc. Zach plays guitar, bass, drums, and way to many video games. Titus plays his Mom and Dad like only a 14 month old can. He's a gem, gets all his looks from momma. (Thank God) We all hunt, fish, play music together. We have a special place for Gods creatures in our house...,right next to the potatoes. Sharon, Zach and myself all managed to put meat in the freezer this year. Typical family...,not-so-much. I remember alot/most of the people I see on "Classmates", and would love to hear from you if you remember me or feel like cathing me up on what's going on with schoolmates/classmates. I don't know if our class(86) is planning a 25 year reunion in 2011, but if not, we should be. God bless.
