Timothy's Story
Life
Went to Nazareth School in San Diego for 8 years and graduated in 1993. Went on to Saint Augustine's, also in San Diego, and graduated in 1997. Went to the University of Redlands where I got my BA in Biology and graduated in 2001. Also went to CSU San Bernardino from 1998 to 2002 for Air Force ROTC, where I completed the program and earned my commission, but was delayed because of a car accident and then discharged all together because of cancer.
Two surgeries and 9 weeks of chemo later I am working for KyXy radio in San Diego plus maintaining the Network at my father's CPA Firm in El Cajon. Also own my own Internet based/E-Commerce business.
School
In grade school I participated in Drama, altar server, and academics.
In High School I again participated in drama, Track-and-Field, Campus Ministries, Ted's Kitchen, and received my academic letter.
College
Went to the University of Redlands for four years, earning ...Expand for more
my BA in Biology. Was dificult coming from a conservative upbringing and knowing what life was about, surrounded by the sheltered and privilaged who hadn't really experienced what was beyond the house or school grounds.
ROTC was awesome. Generally my peers were more grounded and a lot more mature.
Workplace
I am a promotions assistant for Infinity Broadcasting, better known as KyXy and The Planet in San Diego.
Also am an office assistant for my father while also maintaining the computers.
Worked for Bon Apetit catering while in college. Also DJ'd for KUOR while in college.
Military
Began AF ROTC in the Fall of 1998. I completed the program in June of 2002, save for the physical fitness test, which was delayed due to a car accident. I never had the chance to take the test after June since the doctors thought there was a chance that I had cancer, and thus received an Honorable Discharge in October of 02' as an E-1.
