Tina's Story
A few of you have written asking me to tell you something about myself. I will first tell you that I was co-captain of the boosters with Pamela Sobel Burros (also on classmates). We went to all the football (Blue Devils) and basketball games. I wanted to go to college and become a math teacher but I had an uneducated father who demanded I go out and get a job as soon as I graduated. I did, but I also went to Brooklyn College at night. Unfortunately, I only went for a year and a half. It was too hard working during the day and going to school at night.

s June 2lst we will be married for 39 years. I continued to work and put my husband through school to become an elementary school principal. We have one son who is 27 years old. He is a dentist doing his residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Manhattan and I am very proud of him.
I owned a bagel restaurant on Long Island for 15 years. I just closed it and am taking a well deserved rest for awhile.
Somehow, no matter where you are or what you do in life, or how many years have past, you still think of yourself as that l8 year old kid in high school. That's why I joined. To keep the dream alive. Hail Tilden High!
