Tina's Story
Life
Let's see...where to start. I'm happily married, living in Ann Arbor, own a house, have a 2 1/2 year old son and a 21 month old girl that I'm crazy about. I am a teacher in Plymouth-Canton Community schools
After sixth grade at Hayes Elementary, my family moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Had a great time there, and met a lot of great people, especially you, Laura! Moved to Oceanside, California before 11th grade. Graduated from Rancho Buena Vista High School in the first class. Went to University of California, San Diego and earned a B.A. in English and American Literature. Went on to get a teaching certificat...Expand for more
e and began to teach in a bilingual program in Jamul, CA. Three years later, returned to Michigan and got a job teaching in the multiage program at Farrand Elementary. Love my job (most days), and have some great friends (like you, Lisa!).
I made the decision to move back to Michigan and leave beautiful San Diego behind to be near my family. It was a wise decision, as I had a few good years before my father and brother lost their lives to different types of cancer in 2001.
Glad to be back in Michigan with the beautiful green (part of the year, anyway), and awesome parks. My heart still aches for the Pacific, though.
