Tina's Story
After a semester of college in Texas, I came back to Germany. I went to University of Maryland in Munich. I met my husband at the Green Goose Bar in Ansbach. We got married in September 1990 just before Richard left for Desert Storm with 101st Airborne Division.
When Richard returned (a year later) he got out of the military and we headed to his hometown in Michigan City Indiana. I went to school at Purdue University and Richard worked to provide for us. Richard got a job with the San Antonio Police Department and we moved to Texas.
Once in Texas, I worked for Estee Lauder and went to University of Texas. In the meantime, we had two children. Rayne and Reid. I graduated for UTHSC-SA with a BSN in 2000.
Currently, Richard is a homicide detective for SAPD. I work for San Antonio's largest childrens hospital in the heart of downtown San Antonio. I am a Pediatric Critical Care nurse and am currently studying for my CCRN certification.

Rayne is 14 and is in National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, Volleyball, and Yearbook. She stays busy and is a sweet angel. Not yet dating but has lots of boys chasing her. She is more interested in grades because she wants to go to Notre Dame and study medicine.
My son Reid is 12 and quite the opposite of Rayne. He is character and has a photographic memory. Really weird, he can tell you every detail of any professional sports member. Adults love him because he is like looking up stats on the internet. All they have to do is say, hey Reid, who won the football game last night. Nine times out of ten he will give them play by play with extra info like where the star player went to school, how tall he is, how much he ways and how many passes he threw in the game. Man I wish I could use that brain on my upcoming CCRN test! Reid stays busy playing select baseball and basketball.
Well, there it is. If you are ever in good Ol' San Antonio give me a call.
