Tina Marie's Story
We moved back to Northern Virginia in November 2010. Glad to be back and the kids enter 8th and 9th grade this fall. Lots of music and sports abound for them. We also have a few fun pets -- rabbits, chinchilla and a guinea pig. Hubby and I have been married 17 years! Yay! Life is good. If we were friends before, look me up on FB!

This summer 2006 we moved to Oregon. It's across the country and has some interesting prospects for lifestyle changes for us. We (ok that's I ) hope this will be short lived for now, with a chance to move to a more middle-ground suburban area before too long. Our next stop (maybe Portland OR, Massachusetts, or Denver, CO) would be the final move for the kids, so they can go through middle school and high school uninterrupted. I have been so blessed with life. Personally, I love being a mom, and having kids so close in age, makes it like having twins sometimes. I have two great children Savannah (10) and Jacob (9)! I'm reliving my childhood, helping coach soccer and shooting basketballs with my son, and shopping and learning all the American Girls products with my daughter.
Professionally, I'm working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (still). I am now the IT Help Desk Team Leader for Region 5 (Maine to Virginia). I am presently in a telework situation, working from home, here in Oregon. I work east coast hours and still opt for a 4 day work week Tues-Fri.
For some unknown reason, I've really been really blessed these last 13 years! I am married to a wonderful guy with a great personality. He is a cross between several of my old favorite friends, combining their best features: good humor, intelligence, and strength/ leadership.
