Tina's Story
Hello to fellow classmates of 1964! As indicated in a recent "announcement" via classmates.com; I've indicated to one and all that my husband and I have moved to San Antonio, TX as of February, 2005. We sold our home and made the big move and have not regretted it at all. Both daughters lives in Fife/Milton area - so we plan to return each year to visit both daughters and our 5 grandchildren.
"Bucket LIst" includes exploring the South, Midwest and Eastern states. Would love to see the Ammish country and purchase a few quilts. Also, I'd love to be up in Maine during the summer or fall enjoying fresh cooked LOBSTER! Soon I hope to endulge in Cajun cuisine. Hmmmm, seems like I love to eat - which I do! Especially with family or friends around.
Workplace

Smith Tower, Seattle. The next three years were absolutely GREAT! Met all types of people - from wealthy/influential to down-and-out poor/street people. All had unique stories about their past. I then moved on to another law firm in Seattle (Karr, Tuttle, et. al.) - which was a larger firm with various corporate clients. After 7 years - I met and married my husband (Alex) in 1973.
Two kids later I returned to work on a part-time/full-time basis with the Federal Way School District. Began as "playground supervisor" for a year (have whistle will follow) and 14 years as school secretary and Registrar. After our kids graduated - I decided to go to the outside world and became employed for five years with DeVry University - Federal Way Campus.
UPDATE (2015) - Sadly, husband passed away. I have moved from the big city of San Antonio to a very small town in Texas that is out in the country. I am enjoying the country/small town life very much and have moved on with my life.
