Tina's Story

I really hope that old friends will always remember that I tried to be a good listener and a caring individual. I think that lessons were learned in the grade school that I went to that established a strong foundation that I took with me even into High School. There was a funny thing that everyone else seemed to remember from my grade school (that by the way just had a killer reunion all put together by a great lady by the name of Kris Hennessey). Everyone remembered me as taller! What a hoot... And they remembered my NaNa as one of the nicest and greatest cooks around. That was a poignant memory to hear because she raised me...and I love and miss her still to this day. I am in the special education field specifically Autism Awareness. That is easy my favorite way to blow off steam is to go for a long walk. My favorite way to relax is to do anything outdoors. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a good song playing on my radio, something upbeat, and or listening to my favorite radio show NPR to be able to deal with the day-to-day. several hero's. The one that always comes to mind first thing without a doubt are my kids. Each of them throughout their lives have made me stop and think about so many issues. They inspire me to be a better person and have given me such pleasure in watching them grow up that I can not even describe it. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is My Grandmother and My Aunt Mary, because I would be sure and spend so much more time with both of those great ladies and learn everything I did not learn the first time around. If I won $100 million, I'd give a good portion of it to the research and study of Autism, then spend the rest on another portion to researching and finding cures for the above issue and, also ALS and MS and the finding of the cure for the above situations would be worth every dime spent. Wow I think my hero would have to be my Grandma. She raised me and was the greatest influence on me. My best friend would tell you I'm A good listener, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as Guarded.
