My Pets
I have a tropical fish tank with lots of fish. We no longer have any outdoor pets.
Marriage
I remarried on March 9, 2002 to Tony Harrison, one of those Northeast Jones guys. He is a General Manager at Custom Precast Products in Lumberton, MS and also serves as a Major in the Mississippi Army National Guard. Our life changed when he was deployed in December 2003 to serve in the Middle East in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tony served for 10 months and returned home on October 18, 2004. That was one of the longest years in my life.
My Kids
My son's name is Troy. He is now in the 8th grade and is 13 years old. He is a well mannered young man who has surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in hopes to help others seek our wonderful savior. ole. I have a 10 year old step daughter and her name is Emily. She lives in Gulfport, MS. She is currently in the 4th grade. I have recently had another child. Her name is Breanna Claire Harrison. She was born on February 24, 2005. We consider her a love child, because when Tony came home for his 2 weeks R&R, I got pregnant. Yes, it was a planned deal, we just didn't know that it would happen so soon. She has added a whole new meaning to our family.
My Job
I am back at Wayne County High School after a year at Hattiesburg High School and Waynesboro Middle School as a special education teacher. I have several responsibilities in my school setting. I serve as the chairperson for our special education department and the casemanager. I am also the chairperson for the local student support team and have been recently named as the local school test coordinator. I also serve on several committees and review teams.
