Tina's Story
I have been living in Weston, Florida for 3 1/2 years and Miami before that for 10 years. After I left Rhinelander I moved to NYC where I worked for an Advertising Agency until I had my first child and then we moved to Florida.
I have 2 children, Sophie 16 and Hunter 14, both really great kids and also 2 step children, Kevin 15 and Brian who is 12. My husband, Mike has worked for IBM for 25 years.
I am currently working in wholesale furniture and work in the Design Center in Dania Beach. I am also going back to school in hopes to become a social worker.
I have taken up running and ran my first marathon last year with...Expand for more
the Lymphoma and Luekemia Society in San Francisco and have since run a few half marathons and a few 5Ks with my daughter! What a challenge but so rewarding.
I still go to Rhinelander often as it will always be my home. My parents and a few sisters and brother are there. I have sent my kids to Rhinelander for the summer since they were 4 years old just to experience what it was like growing up in the Northwoods. They love it just as much as I do.
I would love to hear from anyone from the good old days at Rhinelander High and Hodag Park!!! I hope everyone that reads this is doing well and lives life to it's fullest!
