Todd's Story
As you may know, I am a trial lawyer practicing personal injury, workers' compensation, divorce, traffic/DWI, municipal and criminal law and real estate throughout New Jersey from my East Brunswick office. I welcome the opportunity to handle your matters and any referrals. Ederlawfirm.com.
ABOUT ME:
I received my undergraduate BA degree, magna cum laude, from Boston University in 1977, and my law degree in 1980 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
I am a member of the New Jersey (1980), New York (1981), Florida (1982), California (1992, inactive), Texas (1993, inactive) and Pennsylvania (2006) Bars. I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts of New Jersey, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Third Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
I have been board certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a "civil trial attorney" since 1994. I am currently a court designated arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court, Middlesex County mandatory personal injury arbitration program.

l injury, workers' compensation, professional malpractice, product liability, divorce and municipal law including criminal and traffic offenses. Through the years, I have successfully represented countless clients in the courtroom and through negotiations. My son, Reid H. Eder, a New Jersey and New York licensed attorney, has now joined my law practice.
Prior to establishing my firm, I was a member of a Middlesex County, New Jersey personal injury firm. During my ten years there I had primary responsibility for toxic tort actions, dental and legal malpractice cases, and workers' compensation matters. I was also heavily involved in other personal injury matters, including, product liability, construction accident, slip and fall, motor vehicle and assorted other types of negligence cases.
From 1983 to 1987, I was associated with a New Jersey insurance defense law firm where I was responsible for the defense of a leading asbestos supplier in asbestos litigation from which I gained experience from the defense perspective.
As an assistant prosecutor for Hudson County, New Jersey from 1980 to 1983, I successfully tried numerous adult and juvenile criminal matters before the Superior Court, Criminal and Juvenile Divisions.
