Life
11/15/07: a few quick notes for those who are checking stuff out before the reunion next week:
- Lisa (Behringer)and I just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary with some antique-ing sans kiddo's. We have two, by the way. Carley is 10 now, going on 16, and too smart for Daddy's good. She loves her dance classes and is playing violin in the school orchestra. Heidi is seven and seems to have the special gift of getting everyone she meets to instantly fall in love with her. she loves school, especially reading and recess!
- OK, back to me, and work first: I've been working for Behr Process Corp. for four years now. Yup, mix dirt and glue together, call it paint and sell it to the Home Depot. Started here after a one year midlife retirement....I highly recommend doing that if you get the opportunity! I'm the Quality Engineer and spearhead the Continuos Improvement program at the Allentown manufacturing site.

urg, PA (look for "Corning" on the map) and have spent the last 13 years restoring it to it's original semi-formal country charm. Over the years I've managed to "collect" a very rusty-trusty 1947 Farmall 'A' tractor, and a nearly-as-rusty 1949 Dodge 1/2-ton pick-up truck that the girls and I use to bring home the Christmas tree each year. I am a confirmed retro-grouch!
- I spend my minimal and precious free time in outdoor pursuits: hunting and fishing. I long for and enjoy the solitude in nature, and my lack of a "trophy room" is testimony for what the real goal is! Most of that time is spent on a neighbor's farm or on public land, but I'm always exploring new locations! Carley and I went camping for a weekend this past summer, tho, and it looks like I might soon have a buddy "out there!"
- One other avocation is our church, I am about to end a six year stint on church council, but will continue to teach Sunday School for high-schoolers. I'm preparing myself for fathering two daughters through those years!
