I began work after CC at a place called Schuchart and Assoc., interesting little place - I should not have left?
Then I proceeded to a little place called Boeing (Everett first, then Wichita KS, and finally Renton) - I worked as a draftsman - illustrator but things were not as I expected.
After 1986 I went on to do what they call contract work, to discover the truth about the Aircraft Industry and their work attitudes.
After 4 years and 4 contracts (mostly 6 months at a time), I discovered that there was one underlying theme -- shut up and do NOTHING! Very confusing but an attitude that I did not like.
So I returned to CC and started on a Business Degree (with Ac...Expand for more
counting).
This took a while since, despite some rumors, I did not have a pile of money laying around waiting to be used.
So -- Shuttle Express (driver), ALPS (security guard), Fred Meyers (Greenwood area), and finally after graduation (before BS degree) a little place in my neighborhood called Gary's Games and Hobbies where I have been since 2000.
Interesting little place - extremely good and patient people. Except for the additional income and possible opportunities that may come my way, I may just remain until Gary decides to retire or sell the shop. Hopefully, I can grow in knowledge with these folks that can help me in my future plans.
