Todd's Story

Life After High School i became obsessed with playing music. My friend Doug Dunham and I had a band called Fine Science in the Phoenix area until 1989. I met my wife Kelly that year and continued playing music with her sister Heather. We were in Tempe then going to ASU. I dropped out after a couple of years to pursue music more intensely. Our band, Adulterous Woman, did 3 tours and started making a name for ourselves in the Phoenix area local alternative music scene, but then broke up before acheiving any real notoriety or success. After my wife graduated from ASU we moved to Washington DC for her continuing education. Heather and I continued playing music, starting a punk rock band in 1996 called The Meat Joy. y getting back in to playing music a little with Fine Science drummer Bob Crain, who had moved to this area before i did. The Meat Joy remains on hold. I only chose a serious career recently, becoming a Real Estate Appraiser in 2003. Before that i worked at the National Gallery of Art for a few years as a shipping clerk. My longest series of jobs was working for Tower Records, which are all gone now. I started in 1985 at the Christown Tower in Phoenix. I then moved to the Tempe store during my college years, and then transferred to Alexandria Virginia when we made our move East. In all i gave that thankless company 13 years of my life, and they always just gave me...a job. but that's a complaint for another forum. I live in an old old farm house in suburban College Park Maryland now and am enjoying raising my kids here.
