Todd's Story
As I stated in the year book from 1988 below my picture. "Todd plans to attend college, enter the medical field, and make a small fortune and perhaps enter politics". ( Last one is postponed indefinitely at this time )
I attended Indiana Univ. of PA, earned a bachelors degree in Nursing
I was offered more then a dozen job offerings in the South East PA area but choose to work at Chestnut Hill Hospital as an ICU RN from 1992 until 1997, when I left for Medical school. During the last 3 yrs of the 6 yrs I worked as a Nurse I took night pre med courses while working full time, at the following schools MCCC, Temple, and Gwynedd Mercy College.
1997 until 2001 I attended ROSS University School of Medicine, living in the Sunny Caribbean for 2 yrs.
In 2001 I did residency at MCP/Hahnemann University Hospitals (2) Level 2 Trauma centers.
In 2004 I completed Internal Medicine Residency, and worked at MCP University Hospital as a Hospitalist / Intensivist taking care of critically ill patients and managing patients on life support. In 2005 when MCP closed I started working at Pottsville Hospital doing the same job description for 6 months, before relocating to Palm Beach County Florida.
I worked in Private practice for 1 yr then opened my own clinic MD4YOU LLC while being on staff at Wellington Regional Medical center and Palms West Hospital. In 2012 I became disil...Expand for more
lusioned with the Gov't Bureaucracy of medicine and Insurance red tape and closed the practice. I have since worked as Medical Director of 5 Urgent Care centers in South Florida, and is also an active Associate Professor of medicine and clinical rotations at NOVA Southeastern University educating young doctors.
In Oct 2009 I married my sweetheart whom I first met back in 2005 after I relocated to Florida,
we bought a house and our first child, a son was born in 2010 Ryan and later in 2013 we had a Daughter Taylor.
Todd Dedicates this passage to his former classmates, and also to his beloved father and the former Superintendent of Spring-Ford who shook every graduates hand. He passed away July 16th 2016 at 9 PM 3 days after his 80th birthday from complications at a local Hospital he was removed from life support on July 21st, 2016. A scholarship was setup in his name for future graduates of Spring -Ford. The scholarship helps future alumni of Spring- Ford and keeps my dads memory and name alive. Also if you were in German Club with Herr Repko, he passed away in 2018 Google Richard Repko Pottstown leave a message on his obituary, I'm sure it would comfort his family that his teaching career touched so many others.
