Tom's Story
Life -
76-80: University of Michigan.
80-84: U.S. Army - mostly in Germany. Pershing nuclear missile unit.
84-86: Kalamazoo, Western Michigan Univ. BSME, Cum Laude
86-89: Toledo OH area. Davis-Besse nuclear power plant, design engineer. Met and married my wife, an accountant.
89-98: Miami, FL. Initially at Turkey Point nuclear plant, where I got certified as a senior reactor operator. Left there in 1994 and worked as a consultant - mostly designing drawbridges, seapor...Expand for more
ts, and buildings. Lost a house to hurricane Andrew.
98-06: Design engineering consultant in Houston - breweries, refineries, schools, buildings, NASA, whatever I could get my hands on.
06-14: NASA liked my work as a consultant. I work for them at the Johhnson Space Center. I'm one of the mission managers for Shuttle missions and ISS.
2014 - Retired. Live in Fairfield Glade Tennessee on the 11th Fairway of Druid Hills golf course with a beautiful view of 7 mountain ranges.
