Tom's Story
Graduated from GHS in 1968 and attended Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. Graduated from OU in 1972 and was immediately drafted into the Army on December 27th, 1972. For those of you who remember the draft stopped Jan. 1, 1973. Went to South Korea for 13 months and flew second seat in Huey helicopters for lack of pilots. y personal savior and soon after met my best friend and love of my life. We stayed in the Ottawa area for 30 years or so, my oldest, Chris, attended OU. We moved to Greenville, SC in 2007. We live in a quaint little town called Travelers Rest looking at the Blue Ridge Mountains. Still running and singing in our church choir. The Lord has been good and Laneita and I are enjoying our 4 grandchildren. We pray that y’all are doing well and God bless. Tom and Laneita Brundage.
