Tom's Story

After graduating in 1968 I evaded the Army Draft by enlisting in the Navy and became and Electronics Technician. My Naval career of 9 Years was spent in Submarines (USS Seadragon SSN 584), on an Aircraft carrier (USS Ticonderoga CVS14) and an Amphibious Command & Control ship (USS Blue Ridge LCC19). A tour in Ethiopia with Defense Communications Agency and WhiteHouse Satellite Communications and finally 2 years with the Naval Electronics Laboratory Center in San Diego. Inc. Defense and Intelligence Systems. I retired from TRW in 2005 and now work for a small Systems Engineering firm supporting Network Management Systems Design for the Government in the Northern Virginia area. Retired from after spending 21 years at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). 51 years of technology is enough! Celebrating 39 years of marriage this year as well. Married for 34 years and living on a Golf Course, can't get better than that! Hobbies are Golf and semi-profrssional Nature and Landscape Photographer.
