Thomas's Story
My yearbook blurb said I wanted to be a shoe salesman, I think. I took "Distributive Education" in my senior year, which is probably the only reason I graduated. I started active duty in the US Army 2 weeks after graduation in June 1969. I was in for 2 years and came out a Specialist 4th Class and a trained electronics technician. cts for 25 years until I was worn out. Then took a job as a PC specialist, and transferred into programming after a few years and have been programming HR & Payroll in PeopleSoft (now Oracle) for the last 11 years. I play guitar and sing, and have recently taken up the fiddle and mandolin. You might remember my guitar performance in the Senior Class Review. I played "Abraham, Martin & John" & "Classical Gas".
